Greenberg Traurig Advised Sellers on Sale of CBBG Group to Vertex
Greenberg Traurig acted as counsel to the sellers in the successful sale of CBBG Group (CBBG) to The Vertex Companies, LLC (Vertex), a portfolio company of Wind Point Partners. This marks a significant milestone as Vertex's first global acquisition, expanding its forensic consulting and expert testimony services into the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.
CBBG Group, a leading expert firm in the Middle East and Europe, specializes in supporting delay, disruption, and quantum disputes within the construction industry. Known for its highly skilled team of professionals, CBBG has built a strong reputation for excellence across a diverse portfolio of projects, including commercial, residential, infrastructure, and transportation. The company provides expert advice and solutions across the entire spectrum of construction and infrastructure projects.
The acquisition enables Vertex to combine synergies with CBBG, enhancing its global footprint and strengthening its capabilities in forensic consulting and dispute resolution. Vertex is a prominent professional services firm offering expert witness and dispute resolution services, forensic consulting, surety, project advisory, compliance, and regulatory consulting worldwide. With a focus on bettering outcomes for its clients, colleagues, and communities, Vertex is committed to solving complex challenges and promoting sustainability, safety, and justice.
The Greenberg Traurig cross-border team was led by Corporate Shareholder Chadi Salloum, Of Counsel Krishen Patel, Senior Associate Patrick Lilly and Associate Justin Hool. The team was further supported by Shareholders Adam S. Namoury and Alex Tostevin, and Associate Divya Seth.
