The deal included an investment from the affiliates of an equity firm to support the continued growth of a packaging and containers company
The leading global provider of branded packaging, trims, sensor technologies and supply chain solutions R-Pac International Holding has entered into a strategic partnership with American Securities, a leading private equity firm in the US.
As part of a larger transaction resulting in a global restructuring exercise, R-Pac has acquired the shareholding of minority shareholders of R-Pac (India) Private Limited. The restructuring exercise also involved R-Pac acquiring the minority shareholding in R-Pac (Middle East) Limited.
While the Mumbai-based law firm Economic Laws Practice was engaged in the restructuring exercise in India and Dubai, the team was led by partner Yashojit Mitra (head, corporate & commercial practice), Abhishek Sanyal (partner), Devyani Singh (director), Jishnu Dhar (senior associate) and Rudraksh Bhatt (associate).
Davis+Gilbert advised R-Pac and Kirkland and Ellis served as counsel to the American Securities.
