DSK Legal Advised NUA On Pre-Series C Funding Round
DSK Legal assisted and advised Lagom Labs Private Limited ("NUA"), in relation to its recent pre-series c funding round which was led by Mirabilis Investment Trust ("Transaction"). The round also saw participation from Samir Singh, EVP Asia, Colgate Palmolive & Former Chair of Unilever SE Asia, Shuchi Kothari, Head of DSP Family Office and SRF Limited.
NUA, a women’s wellness and hygiene brand, has attracted investment from several prominent investors, including Lightbox VC, Kae Capital, actress Deepika Padukone, and former global president of Unilever, Vindi Banga. In this funding round, NUA raised approximately INR 35 crore (around $3.9 million).
DSK Legal played a key role in the transaction, handling legal due diligence, drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing the securities subscription agreement, shareholders agreement, and other transaction documents. The firm also assisted in reviewing the conditions precedent and ensuring the successful completion of the transaction.
The DSK Legal team representing NUA was led by Partner Mayank Mehta, along with Principal Associate Adwait Munje. Partner Hemang Parekh acted as the lead engagement partner, providing strategic inputs on the transaction. The due diligence team included Partner Mayank Mehta, Principal Associate Rajlaxmi Kale, Associate Aasil Singh, and Associate Fatma Taj.
