DSK Legal Advised KribhCo On 50:50 Joint Venture With Farm Frites
DSK Legal represented Krishak Bharati Cooperative Limited (KribhCo) in the establishment and investment in a joint venture company (JVC) with Farm Frites Beheer B.V. (Farm Frites), structured as a 50:50 partnership.
KribhCo is a premier national-level cooperative society in India, engaged in the production and distribution of high-quality fertilizers and agricultural inputs through cooperatives and institutional agencies.
Farm Frites is a global leader in potato fries and potato specialties, supplying major international food chains, including McDonald’s, KFC, and Domino’s.
The JVC will focus on the production and processing of high-yield potato varieties sourced from the Netherlands, leveraging technical expertise from both partners to optimize the quality and competitiveness of processed potato products.
DSK Legal assisted KribhCo in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing the Joint Venture Agreement between KribhCo and Farm Frites, as well as the Licensing and Technical Assistance Agreement covering the use of proprietary know-how and trademarks, and the provision of technical support and services by Farm Frites.
