DLS Law Offices advised Minda Corporation Limited in their Joint Venture with a Taiwanese company, Hsin Chong Machinery Works Co., Ltd. (HCMF).
The two large automobile players from India and Taiwan have committed to partner to provide cutting-edge technology backed by state-of-the-art manufacturing of sunroof and closure technology products for passenger cars, by localization in India. This joint venture will offer a full system solution ranging from design, development to manufacturing of sunroof for passenger vehicles. With changing consumer preferences for premiumization the market for sunroofs in India is expected to reach US$500 – US$600 Million by 2030.
Minda Corporation Limited (MCL) is one of the country’s largest suppliers of 2-wheeler, 3-wheeler and Off-Road vehicles Electronic & Mechanical Security System in India and deals with a diverse range of products such as Mechatronics Information and Connected Systems Plastics and Interiors Aftermarket Electronics Manufacturing, etc.
Hsin Chong Machinery Works Co., Ltd, (HCMF) is a globally well-established and reputable company based in Taiwan, with a strong presence in the machinery manufacturing industry. The company deals in design, production and distribution of a wide range of heavy machinery and construction equipment and is known for its commitment to quality and innovation, producing advanced construction machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, and cranes that are widely used in various construction projects globally.
