DLA Piper has advised Templewater on its acquisition of Knight Auto Precision Engineering Pte. Ltd.
Knight Auto is a precision engineering firm headquartered in Singapore, with operations in Malaysia, the Philippines, and China. It is a prominent manufacturer of components for semiconductor chip testing and assembly. The company has industry-leading product design capabilities and serves a blue-chip customer base comprising the world's largest Integrated Device Manufacturers (IDMs) and Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test Suppliers (OSATs).
James Chang, the lead Partner for the transaction at DLA Piper based in Beijing remarked, “We are delighted to support Templewater on this transaction, which showcases DLA Piper’s pan-Asian M&A deal execution capabilities.”
The multi-jurisdictional nature of the transaction demonstrated the strength of the law firm’s global network and cross-market mergers and acquisitions capabilities.
