DLA Piper acted for Lactalis Group on the acquisition of world's largest dairy business
DLA Piper acted for Lactalis Group on the acquisition of world's largest dairy business
DLA Piper has represented Lactalis Group, the largest dairy company in the world, in its acquisition of the Jalna Dairy Foods yoghurt factory in Australia.
In a statement, DLA Piper Partner Jyoti Singh stated, "We were thrilled to advise Lactalis Group on the transaction, which further reinforces their regional footprint with this renowned Australian brand."
Several companies, including Jalna Dairy Foods Pty Ltd and Jalplas Pty Ltd, as well as parcels of real estate and other business assets.
Jalna Dairy Foods is widely regarded as Australia's most innovative and creative yoghurt manufacturer.
The international group that finalized the transaction was led by partners Jyoti Singh (located in Melbourne) and Sarmad Haidar (based in Paris). Eddie Ahn (partner), Onno Bakker (partner), Nicholas Boyle (partner), Sallie Bowtell (partner), Jessie Buchan (partner), Rick Catanzariti (partner), Natalie Caton (partner), Rhys (graduate), and many more lawyers from other practices provided support.
