Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Partner Gyanendra Kumar Designated Senior Advocate By Delhi High Court
Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Partner Gyanendra Kumar Designated Senior Advocate by Delhi High Court
Gyanendra Kumar has been designated as a Senior Advocate by the Delhi High Court. With over 29 years of experience, he has advised both Indian and international clients, including investors and multinational corporations, across a wide range of legal matters in various courts and tribunals in India. His areas of expertise include restructuring, mergers and amalgamations, insolvency proceedings, commercial disputes, arbitration, pre-arbitration litigation, and white-collar crime.
He has also represented the Confederation of Indian Industries before the Joint Committee of the Lok Sabha (House of People of the Indian Parliament), presenting the industry view on the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code.
As part of his new designation, he will step down from his partnership role. Cyril Shroff, Managing Partner at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, expressed his congratulations, stating, “I am delighted that Gyanendra has been designated as a Senior Advocate. He spotlights the deep expertise of the Firm’s thriving disputes practice in litigation strategy and court craft. I wish Gyanendra all the best in his new role at the bar.”
Reflecting on his designation, Gyanendra Kumar shared, "It is an extremely proud moment to be considered worthy of the honour of designation as a Senior Advocate. I owe sincere and heartfelt gratitude to Cyril Shroff and the entire CAM family for the opportunities, encouragement, and support provided to me. The love I have received is extremely touching, and the fact that very soon I would not be in the CAM office every day makes it even more emotional. I hope this gives the young lawyers in the Firm the confidence that the world is their oyster without any limitations and guided only by their efforts, perseverance, and strive for excellence.”
