Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Advised Trust Group And Others On Investment In The Preferential Allotment By Indiabulls Real Estate Limited
Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) advises Trust Group and others (“Client”) on investment in Indiabulls Real Estate Limited (“Issuer”), a public listed company, through subscription to equity shares and share warrants in the preferential allotment by the Issuer. The preferential allotment was undertaken for an amount aggregating to INR 3908 crores. The Client invested in equity shares and share warrants for a total amount of approximately INR 918 crores.
CAM played a crucial role as legal advisor, assisting with the overall structuring of the transaction, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, smooth execution and closing of the transaction. The General Corporate team of Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised on the matter.
The overall transaction was completed under the guidance and with the strategic inputs of Leena Chacko, Partner. The Transaction team was led by Ruetveij Pandya, Partner; Molla Hasan, Partner; with support from Manjri Singh, Associate; and Sajith Anjickal, Associate.
The team led by Dhruv Rajain, Partner; with support from Ananya Mahant, Associate; and Svyambhuv Talwar, Associate; advised on the competition law related aspects of the transaction.
The transaction documents were signed on 5th April, 2024 and closing took place on 21st May, 2024.
