Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Advised Sterlite Technologies Ltd. On ₹1,000 Cr. QIP Of Equity Shares
Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) advised Sterlite Technologies Limited (the Company) on a Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP) of its equity shares, totaling INR 1,000 crores. The proceeds from the QIP were intended for (i) full or partial repayment of specific borrowings of the Company and (ii) general corporate purposes.
The Capital Markets team at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas led the advisory efforts, under the overall guidance of Yash J. Ashar, Partner & Head of Capital Markets. Gokul Rajan, Partner & Regional Head of Markets Practice (Northern Region), spearheaded the transaction team, supported by Aniran Ghoshal, Principal Associate; Sanjana Ravjiani, Senior Associate; Indira Satish, Associate; Aarushi Jain, Associate; Siddharth Tiwari, Associate; and Vatsala Parashar, Associate.
Other parties and advisors involved in the transaction included Nuvama Wealth Management Limited (formerly known as Edelweiss Securities Limited) and Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors Limited, serving as book running lead managers to the issue. Additionally, Hogan Lovells Lee & Lee acted as international legal counsel to the book running lead manager to the issue.
The QIP commenced on April 8, 2024, and concluded on April 12, 2024.
