Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Advised Standard Chartered Bank In Subscription Of Non-Convertible Commercial Papers For INR 280 Crore By T-Hills
Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) advised Standard Chartered Bank (“SCB”) in subscription of Non-Convertible commercial papers for INR 280 crore by T-Hills Private Limited (T-Hills). T-Hills Private Limited is engaged in the business of construction, development, design, acquisition, and alteration of all types of developmental and construction work in relation to building, structures, projects and other similar works and for such purposes the acquisition, purchase or handover of land and buildings.
T-Hills has subscribed to unlisted commercial papers for an aggregate of INR 280,00,00,000 (Rupees Two Hundred and Eighty Crores Only) from Standard Chartered Bank (“SCB”) for meeting construction and development related expenses for the ongoing projects of its group companies. CAM offered extensive counsel across all phases of the transaction, from initial drafting and negation of transactional documents to overseeing regulatory compliance, addressing specific issues, and facilitating the successful completion of the transaction.
The Banking, Corporate & Structured Finance team of Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised on the matter. The transaction team was led by Lakshmi Prakash, Partner; and Krithika Srinivasan, Senior Associate.
Other parties and advisors to the transaction included Puravankara Limited, acted as guarantor; T-Hills Private Limited, acted as borrower.
The signing date was 12th March, 2024; and closed by 13th March, 2024.
