Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) advised Kogta Financial (India) Limited on its series F fundraise of INR 1230 Crore from Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP). The round involves primary and secondary. Morgan Stanley and Creador, existing investors of the company, are partially exiting. CAM also advised Multiples Private Equity (existing investor) on a Chinese wall basis on the shareholder rights renegotiation as part of the round.
CAM played a crucial role by providing comprehensive legal support to Kogta Financial including on its obligations in the secondary leg of the transaction.
