Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Advised Johnson Controls On Sale Of HVAC Business To Bosch Group
Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) advised Johnson Controls International plc on Indian law aspects regarding the sale of its residential and light commercial Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) business to the Bosch Group.
The transaction involved the sale of 100% of the total share capital of Johnson Controls Hitachi Air Conditioning Holding (UK) Limited (JCH), a 60-40 joint venture with Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc., to Robert Bosch GmbH and the indirect acquisition of Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning India Limited, a listed company in India.
The General Corporate team of Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised on the matter. The transaction was led by Anshu Choudhary, Partner; with support from Aman Deep Borthakur, Senior Associate; Samraddhi Shetty, Associate; Navjot Chhabra, Associate; and Aditi Goyal, Associate.
