Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised Daichi Life on investment in D2C Consulting Services
Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas acted as legal counsel for Dai-ichi Life Holdings, Inc. (Daichi Life), for the transaction involving purchase of CCPS amounting to 11.65% of the shareholding of D2C Consulting Services Private Limited (D2C Consulting).
The General Corporate Practice of Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised Daiichi Life on the transaction. The scope of work included (i) undertaking due diligence on D2C Consulting and its subsidiaries (ii) review of various transaction documents such as the SSA and the SHA and (iii) advised on the insurance regulatory parts of the transaction since D2C Consulting has a wholly owned subsidiary which is an insurance broking entity.
The transaction team was led by Indranath Bishnu (Partner); Pranjita Barman (Partner); with support from Soumyadipta Chanda (Principal Associate); Anirud Sudarsan R (Principal Associate) and Arnav Maru (Associate).

As part of the transaction, the purchase of CCPS was done on a fully diluted basis as part of the latest funding round.
The Transaction was signed on 27th June, 2023and closed on 30th June, 2023.
