Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas has advised book-running lead managers on a significant fundraise by Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd. The consortium included HSBC Securities and Capital Markets (India) Private Limited, Axis Capital Ltd., Jefferies India Private Limited, JM Financial Ltd., Morgan Stanley India Company Private Limited, Batlivala & Karani Securities India Private Limited, BNP Paribas, IIFL Securities Limited, and Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited.
Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd. is a global engineering and manufacturing specialist, ranking among the top 15 suppliers to automotive OEMs. The fundraise was executed through the issuance of equity shares with a face value of ₹1 each and compulsorily convertible debentures with a face value of ₹100,000 each, totaling ₹6,438 crores (the Issue).
The allotment associated with this Issue was completed on September 20, 2024. This followed a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) that opened on September 16, 2024, and closed on September 20, 2024.
