Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (“CAM”) advised Anzen India Energy Yield Plus Trust (the “Purchaser”) and EAAA Real Assets Managers Limited (the “Investment Manager”) on the acquisition of 100% shareholding and economic interest in ReNew Sun Waves Private Limited (the “Company”) from ReNew Private Limited (the “Seller”).
The Company owns a 300 MW solar project in Rajasthan which has been operational since 2021 and has signed a 25-year PPA with SECI.
The transaction team comprised of Manasvini Raj, Partner; with the support from Dishi Bhomawat, Senior Consultant; and Dhruv Agarwal, Associate.
The InVIT related guidance was provided by Kranti Mohan, Partner (Head - REIT and InvITs).
Real estate diligence support was provided by Ashish Jain, Partner and Shorya Choudhary, Senior Associate.

The transaction was signed on 19th December, 2024.
