AZB & Partners Advised WWD Ruby on its Sale of Equity Shares In Sapphire Foods India
AZB & Partners has advised WWD Ruby Limited (WWD) on its stake sale of 4.77 per cent stake in restaurant chain operator Sapphire Foods India Ltd for over Rs. 4.17 billion (USD 51.01 Million) through open market transactions.
The shares were lapped up by investors, including Nomura, Societe Generale, and Goldman Sachs (Singapore) Pte.
According to bulk deal data with the National Stock Exchange (NSE), WWD Ruby sold a total of 30,30,215 shares, amounting to a 4.77 per cent stake, in the restaurant chain operator.
The firm acted and advised in sale equity shares of Sapphire Foods India Limited by WWD Ruby Limited.
The Capital Markets team was led by Varoon Chandra (Partner) and Lionel D’Almeida (Partner) and was assisted by Bharat Mordani (Senior Associate).
The deal was signed on 26 June 2023 and was completed on 28 June 2023.
