AZB & Partners Advised Warburg Pincus in $350 Million Investment In CData Software
AZB & Partners advised Warburg Pincus from an Indian law perspective on its investment, alongside Accel, in CData Software’s latest funding round. This investment, amounting to approximately $350 million, signifies a strategic move by CData Software to secure significant growth funding amidst escalating demand for data connectivity driven by AI proliferation.
The funding round was led by Warburg Pincus, with participation from Accel, joining existing investor Updata Partners to accelerate CData’s leadership in data connectivity and integration.
The funding round will allow CData to accelerate its investments in building innovative data integration solutions for customers. Updata Partners, the sole investor in CData’s Series A in 2020 and Series B in 2021, will remain a significant investor.
Led by Senior Partner Vaidhyanadhan Iyer and Partner Jeet Chaudhuri, AZB & Partners' deal team provided legal counsel throughout the transaction.
The AZB deal team for this transaction was led by Senior Partner Vaidhyanadhan Iyer and Partner Jeet Chaudhuri. They were supported by Associates Shivani Shenoy, Jay Singhee, Akanksha Khandelwal, and Rishav Sen.
