AZB & Partners advised Accenture in its Acquisition of Impendi Analytics
Accenture Inc. has acquired Impendi Analytics, a distinguished sourcing and procurement services provider. This strategic move marks a significant expansion of Accenture's capabilities in serving the industry.
Accenture is renowned for providing a broad range of services and solutions in strategy, consulting, digital, technology, and operations. With approximately 743,000 employees serving clients in over 120 countries, Accenture is dedicated to helping clients achieve their goals and create sustainable value for their stakeholders.
Founded in 2014 and headquartered in New York, Impendi Analytics, LLC specializes in providing tailored sourcing and procurement services primarily for private equity firms. With a team of around 130 professionals across the United States and India, Impendi Analytics brings extensive expertise in procurement analytics, empowering clients to optimize spending, identify savings opportunities, and enhance supplier diversity.
The deal was signed on January 17, 2024, marking a pivotal moment for Accenture's growth strategy. The acquisition underscores Accenture's dedication to investing in strategic initiatives that drive growth and innovation, with the total consideration exceeding USD 20 million.
AZB & Partners facilitated the acquisition process, providing legal counsel. The team was led by Partners Vaidhyanadhan Iyer and Vasudha Asher, and supported by Senior Associates Ashutosh Merchant, Anushka Pemmaya, and Rashmee Kumar.
