Dalmia Bharat, the over 80 years old company that has leadership in core sectors including cement, refractories and sugar, has announced the resignation of Dr. Sanjeev Gemawat from the position of the Executive Director (Legal), Group General Counsel and Group Company Secretary.
Dr Gemavat is a corporate lawyer and chartered secretary from India and the UK. He is a post graduate in Law and holds a Doctorate in Insider Trading, besides specialisation in International Trade Laws and World Trade Organization from the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
He has nearly three decades of experience as head of legal, taxation, risk & compliance, regulatory, corporate & secretarial functions of esteemed corporates and multinationals. He has served across industries including automobiles, real estate, and infrastructure.
