VR Kamalanathan secures 428 votes out of 626

Advocate VR Kamalanathan has been elected President of the Madras Bar Association securing 428 votes. The election saw a total of 626 votes polled, out of which 622 were deemed valid.

Advocate D Sreenivasan was elected secretary with 332 votes while advocate P Srinivas would be the new treasurer having secured 323 votes. Advocate N Ramiah becomes the librarian.

The Bar Association's executive committee members would include advocates R Hemalatha, V Ramesh, D Raja, Y T Aravind Gosh and S K Chandrakumar, all of whom won over 400 votes each.
