Nisha Kaur Uberoi joins JSA as the Chair of the Competition Practice, along with her team of over 25 attorneys including 2 Partners, Harshita Singh Parmar and Pranav Satyam.
Nisha leads one of the largest competition law teams in India and is widely regarded as one of India’s foremost competition lawyers.
Nisha brings with her an extensive expertise in complex areas like merger control, cartels, abuse of dominance, and the digital economy, she represents clients before the Competition Commission of India (CCI), NCLAT, and the Supreme Court. Nisha’s reputation extends globally & she has been recognised by various global publications like Chambers & Partners, ILFR & Legal Era.
She has also been honoured as GCR Global Dealmaker of the Year, Legal Era Competition Lawyer of the Year and in prestigious lists like GCR 100 Women in Antitrust.
With more than two decades of experience, prior to Trilegal, Nisha led the competition practice at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, and AZB & Partners, where she co-headed the competition practice. She is an alumni of the National Law School of India University, Bangalore and National University of Singapore.
