The two have been recognized as leading lawyers by prominent Canadian legal guides
DLA Piper, Canada has announced that Colin Brousson in Vancouver and Edmond Lamek in Toronto will be the Co-Chairs of the firm's restructuring group.
With over 25 years of experience, Brousson and Lamek have acted for a wide variety of stakeholders and court officers across key business sectors in all types of Canadian and cross-border insolvency proceedings and transactions.
They have advised financial institutions and other secured and unsecured creditors, DIP lenders, indenture trustees, corporate debtors, landlords, suppliers, boards of directors, purchasers, receivers, interim receivers, and Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act monitors, bankruptcy trustees, and Chapter 11 creditors' committees.
The two are also members of the Insolvency Institute of Canada. They have been recognized as leading lawyers by prominent guides including the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, Legal 500 Canada, Chambers Canada, and Chambers Global.
