The firm now has eight partners in the region, including investment funds partner Marc Parrott, who joined last year

One of the world's leading law firms, Appleby has hired two former Harneys investment funds lawyers Bronwyn King and Grace Yeung in Hong Kong. While King is a partner at the firm, Yeung will serve as a legal manager.

A partner at Harneys until recently, King was also a partner and head of Asia-Pacific at the Cayman Islands-headquartered Intertrust Law. He has over 15 years of offshore experience, specializing in investment funds, asset management regulatory and general corporate transactions. He has also worked with Simmons & Simmons, and offshore firms Mourant Ozannes, Walkers, and Ogier.

Yeung has over eight years of offshore and onshore experience in investment funds, asset management regulatory and general corporate transactions. She focuses on fund formation in the private equity, venture capital and hedge fund sectors. Having joined Harneys in 2018, she has previously worked at Morrison & Forester and K&L Gates.
