Withers has announced the return of private client and tax Partner Laurence Ho to its Hong Kong office, accompanied by a special counsel, a Senior Associate, and an associate.
Jay Dinwoodie, CEO of Withers’ private client and tax division, commented, “The addition of Laurence and his team further strengthens our international US-qualified private client and tax practice. This addition positions Withers as the law firm with the largest number of US-qualified private client and tax lawyers in the Asia-Pacific region, with teams in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Tokyo.
Ho, who is qualified in New York and Massachusetts, specializes in international tax, trust, and estate planning. He rejoins Withers from Loeb & Loeb’s Hong Kong team, where he has been a partner since 2020. Prior to his tenure at Loeb & Loeb, Ho served as a partner at Stephenson Harwood in 2017, following nearly a decade at Withers.
