Yulchon Adds Sang Mook Kang as a Partner in Seoul
One of South Korea’s largest law firms Yulchon has announced the appointment of the erstwhile senior prosecutor Sang Mook Kang as a partner, strengthening its dispute resolution practice and global white-collar defence team in Seoul.
Yong Pyo Yeom, co-head of Yulchon's dispute resolution practice, praised Kang's experience in anti-corruption and outstanding track record.
Kang, who recently worked at the Busan District Prosecutor's Office, brings expertise from his tenure as a prosecutor and as a policy advisor to the Minister of Justice, where he worked on revising commercial laws.
"Delighted to join Yulchon," Kang said, "I’m looking forward to contributing my expertise to their client base and working with their renowned team."
Kang's addition follows the hiring of Wook Jin Rah, a renowned international criminal expert, just one month prior.
