Vietnam’s ACSV Legal Expands Energy and Infrastructure Practice with the Hire of Stanley Boot
ACSV Legal, a Ho Chi Minh City-based law firm, has welcomed projects and technology expert Stanley Boots as a partner. Boots was previously the founder and managing partner of Frontier Law and Advisory, which he established in Hanoi in 2014.
Stanley Boots, a projects and technology expert with over 15 years of experience, advises on a wide range of projects and project financing, including infrastructure, impact and climate, public-private partnerships, Web3 technologies, artificial intelligence, and startups. Before founding Frontier Law and Advisory, Boots worked at Hogan Lovells and DLA Piper.
At Frontier Law, Boots advised on the financing of the Van Phong 1 Thermal Power Plant Project in Vietnam, which was awarded Project Finance Deal of the Year at the ALB Japan Law Awards 2020.
Boots is joined by special counsel Thom Nguyen and associate Linh Dang in moving from his firm to ACSV Legal. ACSV has also hired Anh Pham as a special counsel.
ACSV managing partner Mark Oakley said in a statement that Boots' hire is part of the firm's strategic expansion into energy and infrastructure.
“With Stanley’s extensive and industry-leading experience in international projects and project finance, as well as his strong nexus to Japan, Stanley brings a wealth of expertise that will greatly benefit our clients and our firm,” Oakley stated.
ACSV now has three partners in its ranks with the arrival of Stanley Boots.
