Shivani Sanghi Joins Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner As Partner In Business And Commercial Disputes Practice

Shivani Sanghi has joined Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) in London as a Partner in the Business and Commercial practice, leaving her previous role at Fieldfisher.

Sanghi is dual-qualified as a solicitor advocate in England & Wales and as an advocate in India. She graduated from NALSAR, Hyderabad, in 2009. Prior to joining BCLP, she was part of the commercial litigation and arbitration teams at King & Wood Mallesons (formerly SJ Berwin), Fried Frank, Covington & Burling LLP, and most recently, Fieldfisher.

Sanghi brings extensive experience in advising on and strategically resolving complex, high-value, multi-stakeholder, and cross-border disputes, with a particular focus on international commercial and investment treaty arbitration. Her expertise also includes commercial litigation with concurrent proceedings across multiple jurisdictions such as India, the Middle East, Russia, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Luxembourg, Cyprus, Bulgaria, and the Balkan region.

She has represented clients in high-profile litigations before English courts, including the High Court, the Court of Appeal, and the UK Supreme Court. Additionally, she has acted in complex high-stakes arbitrations under the rules of various arbitration institutions such as the ICC, LCIA, SIAC, and PCA, across global venues.

Sanghi also has significant experience in emergency arbitrations and matters involving fraud, conspiracy, and worldwide freezing injunctions.
