Morgan Lewis & Bockius has announced hiring Sara Aranjo to lead its international arbitration, dispute resolution, and global investigations practice in the Middle East and Africa.
Aranjo’s practice primarily centers on cases involving cross-border complexities. Her impressive track record spans across multiple jurisdictions, including Africa, the Middle East, London, Paris, New York, Washington DC, Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul, and Switzerland. She created history as the first Middle East-based member of the Swiss Centre Court of Arbitration.
With her legal journey, Aranjo has made an impact at prestigious international law firms including McDermott Will & Emery in Paris and Cravath Swaine & Moore in London. She spent seven years at the United Arab Emirates-based Al Tamimi & Company, achieving partnership in 2021.
