Deutsche Bank IPB Asia Pacific Head Exits for Rival UBS Role

Deutsche Bank Asia Pacific Head of international private bank Jin Yee Young, has decided to leave the company after less than six months to join UBS.

She is set to join UBS GWM as the Co-Head of wealth management in Asia as August Hatecke returns to Zurich, Citywire Asia has learnt.

Singapore-based Young previously worked as the Deputy Head of Credit Suisseā€™s Asia Pacific wealth management business.

Young joined the bank at the start of the year, after almost two decades with Credit Suisse, with her last role as Deputy Head of Asia Pacific wealth

management business.

Young will be joining UBS while the company completes its buyout of its competitor Credit Suisse in a deal facilitated by Swiss Authorities in March.

According to an internal memo, Marco Pagliara will be replacing her at Deutsche Bank, as the new Head of Emerging Markets.

Besides Asia Pacific, his new role will also cover the Middle East and Latin America, the memo added.

Pagliara, whose appointment to the new role is effective immediately had joined the German lending entity in 2019
