Ashurst Expands EMEA Offering With Claus Zimmermann’s Appointment

Global law firm Ashurst has Appointed International and EU trade specialist Claus Zimmermann as Partner and Head of International trade, based in Brussels, as the firm continues to expand its EMEA antitrust, regulatory, and trade offering.

Claus, who will lead the firm’s international and EU trade litigation, policy, and regulatory practice, advises governments and private stakeholders on the full range of international and EU trade and regulatory law. He also has extensive experience as a litigator before the WTO, the EU courts, and at national courts.

Claus will join Ashurst on 1st May, coming from Noerr, along with Associate Emilia Etz and Senior Regulatory affairs Advisor Giovanna Ventura. The team will be further complemented by an additional Associate, Nina Schwartz, on 1st October.
