Allen & Overy (A&O) has announced the appointment of Adam Kowalczyk as a Partner in its Litigation Practice in Warsaw, Poland.
He has over 17 years of experience as a general commercial litigator, as well as a white-collar crime and investigations specialist.
Kowalczyk joins with a team of three professionals - counsel Grzegorz Kostrzewa and associates Jacek Becker and Mateusz Kosowicz.
The combined litigation team headed by partners Krystyna Szczepanowska-Kozłowska, Bartosz Merczyński, and Kowalczyk will comprise three partners, two counsels, and 15 associates.

Previously serving at Bird & Bird as a partner since 2018, Kowalczyk acts for financial institutions, private and public companies from various sectors (infrastructure and transport, energy & utilities, chemicals, and heavy industry), local governments, state-owned entities, and high-net-worth individuals.
Apart from resolving complex commercial disputes, he specializes in internal inquiries, business fraud and corruption, money laundering, sanctions compliance, insider trading, and tax crimes.
