Allen & Overy Strengthens Tech Team With Australian Duo

Allen & Overy has enlisted Australian duo Ravi de Fonseka and Daniel Thompson as Partners to enhance the firm’s technology transactions practice. They specialise in Technology, Telecommunications, and Intellectual Property Law.

Fonseka boasts over 20 years of experience across Australia and the UK, while Thompson brings 15 years of expertise. Together, they navigate areas such as telecom networks, regulatory complexities, digital transformations, and IP rights. Their diverse clientele spans industry giants to emerging startups, covering sectors like Big Tech, telecommunications, financial services, and agritech.

Victor Ho, Head of the Asia-Pacific Corporate Practice at Allen & Overy, emphasised the significance of this move: “This is a fast-growing and dynamic sector in the APAC.
