Kerala High Court to send Digitally Signed Copies of Bail Order to Concerned Stakeholders 



The Kerala high court through its notice dated on 22nd October, 2020 declared that all matters relating to sending of digitally signed copies of final orders pertaining to bail applications will now be sent to all stakeholders through email. In fact, free copies of final order will not be issued in physical form, from 27th October onwards.


The order reads the following, "As part of the digital initiative, it has been decided to introduce online delivery of digitally signed copies of final orders in Bail Applications to the stakeholders concerned w.e.f. 27.10.2020 (Tuesday)."


With the implementation of the online facility, the copies of final bail orders, digitally signed by the officers entrusted for such purpose, will be delivered to the Lower courts concerned, the counsel for petitioners, office of the Government Pleader/ Public Prosecutor, crime registered office (Police/ Excise/ Forest), Prisons, etc,.



Certified copies of the bail orders will still be issued on filing the necessary documents.
