India's premier law firm advises an IPO aggregating to Rs.1,039.6 crores
Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. has advised the book-running lead managers to an initial public offering by C E Info Systems by way of an offer for sale by various shareholders of the company, including Qualcomm Asia Pacific and Zenrin Company.
The book-running lead managers include Axis Capital, J M Financial, Kotak Mahindra Capital Company and DAM Capital Advisors (formerly, IDFC Securities Limited).
The deal is valued at USD 137 million. Recently, C E Info Systems was listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) of India. Popularly known as 'MapMyIndia', it is the country's leading provider of advanced digital maps, geospatial software and location-based Internet of Things (IoT) technologies.
It is the first and only digital maps service provider in India to get listed. The IPO was subscribed 154.71 times, receiving bids for over 108.98 crore shares against over 70.44 lakh shares on offer.

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised C E Info Systems on the Indian laws, while Linklaters, Singapore, advised Axis Capital, J M Financial, Kotak Mahindra Capital Company and DAM Capital Advisors on international laws. IndusLaw advised Qualcomm Asia Pacific and Zenrin Company on the Indian laws.
