In order to boost its litigation and real estate practice, Bangalore firm MD&T Partners has merged with Equitas Legal, with effect from October 1, 2017

With this merger, MD&T Partners has 6 partners and a total of 17 lawyers.

Equita Legal set up by KS Devaraj, Bhargavi Dev K, and IS Devaiah in 2011 focuses on commercial real-estate and civil and criminal litigation.

MD&T was set up in 2005 by NLSIU grads Mahesh Devaiah and PM Thimmaiah. Earlier this year, MD&T had promoted Sandhya PV as a Partner.

Mahesh Devaiah, commenting on this merger said,
